RE: PANIC: OSVBlockAddr: Bad VBlock handle ~Rex Quetfoomarakol 20.Feb.03 02:42 PM a Web browser Domino Server 6.0.1Windows 2000
Feels a little funny replying to my own post, but these notes.net forums have been very helpful to me in the past, so I'm hoping that by posting my findings that I will be able to help someone else.
A nice person emailed me to tell me that my NSD information seemed to point to the server crashing while it was parsing HTML. He suggested that I look for a large HTML message in the database. I sorted the database by size, and removed the top 300 messages into a temporary location. No luck.
Next, I created a private view with a selection formula of SELECT $File != "". This way I was able to find all the messages with attachments (including inline HTML attachments). I also knew that my Full Text Index had worked well until February, so I was able to further narrow my search. Out of 50,000 documents, I now had only 200 documents to search. I started double clicking on each, and on click number 55, I crashed my client (Red Screen of Death with the same Bad VBlock Handle message). I deleted the document and now the Full Text Index is rock solid again.
